I agree with Aera.

We were talking this over. It sounds great, but there's just too much on the high end (I know, because I tend to keep my tracks on the high end as well). The hats drown out the kick and the snare. They don't pull through, and they are just not punchy enough. They sound soo.. muffled. As Aera said, the sequencing is great, but as for mastering it, you need another go at it.

I listened to all three as well, and they just don't really differ from each other.

As for the reese, it sounds great but.. it's empty. There's no real "fullness" to it. No sub, or low mid/end bass to make it sound harsher and grimy. Pretty nice, but keep workin' at it.

I appreciate the advice alot, n yeah im workin on pullin that treble down without harming treble in the snare...
and haha the drums sound a bit better since I turned reverb off

Sweet.

Feels a lot like an action-style track. Reminds me a lot of breakbeat. That is one sweet break. The strings really bring out the best in this beast. Another idea that should be completed. lol. Again, needs some better mixing on your part, but it's a very nice track. Me like.

Hahahah thanks man I'm Tryna figure out how to mix by myself and its extra hard and sometimes I feel I focus too much on mixing and don't really pay attention to the actual song. Anyway thanks I'll peep some of you're new stuff peez ouuuut.

I'm still up for collabing, brah.

Sweet track man. Although it could do with some better mixing on your part, but I love the idea. People could definitely jam to this track man. Doing pretty well lately. Some good, hard beats, and very cool basslines and leads there man. Nice job.

Hawt man.

Definitely love this one better than the other version. You did well. Both strings, one in the foreground and the background combine pretty nicely. And the beats give it that pretty good progression of the song. It's very nice. And that snare hit with the tambourine just really does it justice. Sorry I haven't look at this one. Been busy with life, and my own tracks lol. Haven't had the chance. You did very nice. I love it.

Ello, ello, ello! A gem among the few!!

Very nicely done my man. You ask for pointers, there are none that I could even being to give! This track was made like it was from the gods! Hahah! You did very well. Love that wubbage. Although, I think the snare should be just a tinge bit punchier so it can push through the many sounds you have working together.

The track could do with a few pads to give it some atmosphere, but those are just... nothing compare to what you have here already. It works on the culmination of sounds, percussion and effects alone. And that's saying a lot. An awesome job.

Sangen responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Your right about the snares, wish I could get the transitions better too.

Really appreciated.

It's cool.

It's not too bad. Lots of bass, but it's drowning out the amen break :/ Bass is way loud, and the break is way soft. It's kind of square waving itself there.... peaks a lot.

It sounds awesome, but it's missing sub, and I'm sure you can make that bass a lot more grimey... and I think some more patterns could be dedicated to the bass though... You have a pretty good melody going there for it, and some modulations should be used to trick that shiet out.

Drum patterns make the song flow pretty well... just kind of turn the bass down, and put the volume up. Or use a compressor to balance it out.

I feel that there could have been a much better intro, and better build ups. You need something that can just.. punch your listener in the face. Sadly there are absolutely no drops (that I can identify) in this song :/ You need drops so you can give your song that kind of ambiance for build ups, for suspense, and then once you hit that build up, you go, "BAM MUTHAFCKER! HERE'S JOR BAZZ!!!"

Or something along those lines.... Lol. So much more could be done with it. But it's pretty good for what it is. Good Job.

sweet, thanks, i will definately keep working on this, i just wanted to hury up and make a song with my pure custom bass :D

Finally a gem among the few.

Very nice my good friend. I think some parts should be replaced with string hits rather than bass hits, and a lot more orchestral instruments would better suit this. I'd like to remix this when the full version comes out. I bet it'll be much better than this demo here. Very nice job.

Drewsky13 responds:

Thanks very much man. Alot of people been telling me that there should be more strings so that's what I think I'm gonna do. Just gotta find some good strings LOL.

I know how you feel about those zero-rapers.

But.. just don't care about them. It's better not than caring. I know they get to ya.. they get to me too.. but I know my skills, I know my efforts, and their zero-bombs aren't worth crap compared to those people that really do want to lend a helping hand and give you a shot.

And with that out of the way.. I must say, I loved Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers to the Max. The game was hella awesome. This remix was pretty good. Lots of synths. Although you could probably change those around just a tinge, and add some bass in place of those synths for the main melody. Those Saxo's are very nice. An awesome job in my opinion.

Killa5o9 responds:

But the thing about it was that one minute after i submitted my song, it had a score of 1.58!
If i want one of my songs in a flash movie, a 1.70 score isnt going to help, thats why i care.

But ANYWAYS, too many synth's? LOL theres only 4 synths and 2 soundfonts.
Yeah, so there were some crazy effects goin on there :D

Man thanks for reviewing, really appreciate it.

Love the ambience.

Quite calming in fact.. swells in the background give it an airy.. Cloud 9 feel. And those mutes sound pretty sweet. It just makes you want to chill.. relax.. lay down.. and clear you mind of your worries.. Great job. Love it.
And Btw.

Five'd for good measure. You deserve it.

Sweet.

Came across this song while looking at a remix of Chaoz Fantasy. Very nice for FL Core. Great job. This should be in the Top 30. No complaints whatsoever. You've done quite well. Keep it real~
